Question: Why do you think people have religion at the top of the list?
Answer: I suspect it is an innate feeling within humanity. We are spiritual beings and even though we are living in this illusion, way deep down inside our subconscious knows the truth. Our eventual goal is to return to our spirit roots, and we long for it.
Question: Is religion used for control?
Answer: Most definitely. Mankind loves to control one another as we as a population are still slaves to our egos. People use politics, religion, and many other methods to try to make themselves look and feel superior.
Question: Why don’t we see the real truth in things? Why are we so easily fooled by such things?
Answer: Because we are relatively young souls and are confused and afraid of the illusion we find ourselves in. However, as we mature and gain wisdom from the many lives we have lived and will live, we will be better able to see the universe for what it really is ; a brilliantly conceived environment for us to evolve within.
Question: Are we set on a certain path that we must follow? Is life predetermined for us?
Answer: Only partially. Before we incarnate and are existing in the spiritual world, we, in conjunction with our guides, establish certain things we want to experience in life, and lessons we want to learn, so those things are programmed into our subconscious. However, we have free will so if we chose to change the script, we are able to do so in any way we chose.
Question: How do we find such faith in our lives, or do we even need it?
Answer: We do not need faith to have a good life, learn our lessons, and return to our home in the spiritual world at death. However, if you are having trouble dealing with life and are unhappy with your life, then understanding the human condition and seeing the bigger picture can certainly help you. Also, if you are simply searching for answers on how best to live, you will eventually discover this faith because it is the only thing which makes sense.
Question: With all the misrepresentations out there, how do we know who to trust?
Answer: Good point. Searching for truth is a lifelong effort. Avoid anyone who tells you they have all the answers. Listen to what people say, digest it, then see if it makes sense to you. Use multiple sources to build up a body of knowledge, and challenge everyone and every thought until it makes sense to you. If people do not welcome you questions, it is because they don’t have the answers and you are making them uncomfortable. When that occurs, move on.
Question: Was this show planned during a holiday weekend to open our eyes?
Answer: Yes. This was my Christmas Day show but I didn’t think that many people were listening Christmas morning so I reran it on Good Friday because I felt it has an important message.
Question: Do you really think that spiritual evolution is what humans are here for?
Answer: Absolutely. We are here to evolve spiritually. This universe is perfectly organized from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy and it was NOT an accident. It was created and is kept running by an intelligence which has only our best interest at heart. Every spirit which has ever existed is assisting us with our evolution in some way.
Question: Is this the age of instant gratification?
Answer: All too many of us have gotten into the bad habit of wanting immediate answers as opposed to painstakingly searching for truth. We are used to hearing 30 second sound bites and superficial analysis of complex issues on TV and in other forms of the media. Politicians are masters at using this technique to convince us to vote for them. It is a bad habit which we need to break.
